Terms and Conditions

Beechworth BNB allow holiday homes to be rented for short term holiday accommodation purposes only and not for commercial purposes or as a function venue eg: wedding, retreat or party. Functions and gatherings are strictly not permitted and, if evidenced, may be closed down immediately and result in the security bond forfeited in full.

To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking, and the cancellation must occur at least 14 days before check-in.
If they cancel between 7 and 14 days before check-in, they will be refunded 50% for all nights.
If they cancel after that, no refund will be issued.
Cleaning fees: Always refunded if guests cancel before check-in.
Service fees: Service fees are refunded if guests cancel during the free cancellation period for your reservation.
A full refund will be given if Beechworth BNB needs to cancel the reservation.

The Guest may only allow the Property to be occupied by the number of persons/dogs nominated in the Guest’s application and under no circumstances shall the number of people/rooms occupying the Property be greater than that appearing on the Guest’s application or the booking confirmation, whichever is the lesser. The Booking Agent and Owner reserve the right to refuse occupation of the Property to the Guest if the condition on the number of people intended to occupy the Property is not observed.

5. Room Numbers

The Guest may only use the rooms specified when making the reservation. If the guest uses rooms that were not specified during the reservation, a charge of $200/per room per night will be incurred.

We want you to enjoy your stay but please be aware of the impact of your noise on others and keeping our neighbors happy is of paramount importance. Noise and music should not impact any other property and noise levels are to be respectful at all times. There is to be no outdoor music or outdoor entertaining after 9pm. Noise complaints will result in bond deductions and possible eviction.

A security deposit of $500 is required within 7 days of before arrival or earlier and released 5 days after departure.
The deposit payment will be requested using Stripe, we do not store credit card information.
No money will be charged to your credit card unless we need to make a claim of which you will be notified. A claim may have, but is not limited to, the following reasons; excessive cleaning fee (including BBQ), property damage, property theft, trash removal, breakage, late check-out.

You agree to leave the accommodation in a clean and tidy condition using the equipment provided. If the accommodation is left in poor condition, an additional cleaning fee will be charged for cleaning costs over standard items. Please ensure that all trash is bagged, removed from the property and placed in the appropriate bins provided. Property damage, breakage and lost keys must be reported and paid for by the guest. Furniture cannot be moved. If furniture needs to be put back in place, there is a $40 charge.

Our property is strictly non-smoking. Should you smoke outside, please dispose of butts responsibly and not into the garden due to the risk of fire.

Guests are responsible for removing all droppings, bones and filling holes made by the dog/s or a $40 fee will be charged.

The property is available from the announced time on the day of arrival and must be vacated at the announced time on the day of departure. Failure to vacate within the required time will result in a $50 fine. When leaving the building, the keys must be returned to the lockable box.

The Guest shall be responsible for the Property during the Guest’s stay. The Guest shall take all reasonable care of the Property and at the end of the stay shall leave the Property including all utensils, fixtures, fittings and equipment on, in or about the Property in a clean and tidy condition. The Guest shall be liable for any extra cleaning, breakages or damage caused to the Property or any part thereof or any of the chattels therein that may occur during the Guest’s occupation of the Property and all costs for extra cleaning, repair and replacement thereof shall be payable to the Booking agent or the Owner from the Guest Security Bond. Any such costs over and above the amount taken as a Guest Bond may be sought by the Owner through the Local Court. Any damage or breakage to any part of the Property or any of the chattels therein shall be reported to the Local Agent, Booking Agent or Owner as soon as practicable after the damage occurring thereto.

All personal belongings, baggage, vehicles and other property of the Guest of any description shall be the risk of the Guest at all times and neither the Booking Agent nor the Owner accepts any responsibility for any loss or damage thereto.

Personal belongings left at a property can be returned to a nominated address, a postage & handling fee of $50.00 will be charged to your credit card. If our guest services team find lost property at a holiday home, we will hold the items for a maximum of one month.

All information in respect of the Property contained in the Booking Agent’s website is believed to be correct at the time of the publication, however, all details are subject to change by the Booking Agent and/the Owner without notice. The Booking Agent will not accept any responsibility for any alterations to the Property or any part thereof beyond the Booking Agents control or any liability for any matter or occurrences beyond the Booking Agents reasonable control including damage caused by extreme weather conditions, break down of appliances, wiring, plumbing, invasion of pests, or any act or omission on the part of the Owner causing loss, accident or injury to the Guest or any one or more of them.
